Healthcare Systems Engineering

The Healthcare Systems Engineering certificate is a four-course sequence designed by the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering to provide you with the necessary tools to be successful in the healthcare industry.  Topics include supply chain management, lean six sigma and a focus on systems, quality and economics. Students must have an undergraduate degree in engineering to qualify for this certificate.

You are admitted to the program based on the criteria for the MBA. That means the courses will count toward the full MBA curriculum. However, since the MBA concentration will be in engineering, an ABET accredited undergraduate degree in engineering is required.

To complete a graduate certificate program you must apply (it’s free for domestic students). If you already have a degree from Kettering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) an application is the only requirement. If you do not have a degree from Kettering University, we need your official undergraduate transcript sent to us.
